I'm frequently asked if I have anything specifically for eczema, dry patches of skin, protecting from scarring after scrapes and falls, or diaper rash! Since I created babycakes for my African children in the beginning, I have been playing around with a way to protect their skin from abrasions and rashes without the zinc (like in diaper rash creams) that turns them white and gets all over EVERYthing. What I've developed has a blend of special oils to protect against these types of skin irritations.
Like Babyface, the highly-prized oils in Ouchie Butter are very expensive - even wholesale.
Some of the oils and butters this product contains:
Calendula Oil - highly sought after for it's moisturizing and skin-healing properties. Calendula has long been recognized for use homoeopathic preparations in order to restore health. It is said to have antioxidant, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and regenerating properties, and has been proven to aid in wound healing. It even helps heal burned skin!
Evening Primrose Oil - this oil is reputed to nourish the skin and hair, reduce signs of eczema and fights the effects of aging! It's an excellent oil for skin "issues" and seems to aid in heling after injuries.
Arnica Oil - Arnica has been used medicinally for centuries. It is reputed to have anti-inflammatory properties and can be used in liniment and ointment preparations for sprains, bruises, arthritis, insect bites, aches and pains.
Hemp Seed Oil - Hemp seed oil provides the four essential fatty acids beneficial to the skin: LA, GLA, LNA and SDA. (One of the highest EFA contents at 76%!) It is typically used in body care products made especially for dry, damaged skin (i.e. eczema, psoriasis and mastaligia).
Tucuma Butter - Native to the Brazilian Amazon, the delicious, edible fruit of the Tucuma palm tree is the source of this cold pressed butter. Tucuma Butter is unusually rich in lauric, myristic and oleic acids, and is considered to have excellent emollient and skin softening properties. High in vitamin A, the antioxidant properties of this ingredient lengthens shelf life naturally!
Mango Butter - Mango Butter is said to be rich in antioxidants and can be used to soften, smooth and moisturize rough dry skin. It has natural emollient properties, and is reputed to be useful for treating burns, stretch marks, scar reduction, wound healing and skin regeneration – smoothing of wrinkles. It is also reputed to have protective effect against UV radiation and can be used to treat sunburns.
Karanj Seed Oil- is anthelmintic, alexipharmic and useful in diseases of eye and skin. The oil has been used to treat tumors, wounds, ulcers, itching, enlargement of spleen and abdomen, urinary discharges. It also reputed to cure biliousness, piles, head pains, leucoderma, skin diseases and wounds.
Argan Oil - Grown in North Africa and mainly in Morocco, the Argan tree grows wild in semi-desert soil, and is extremely well adapted to drought. Argan Oil is produced from the seeds of this plant and is considered to be one of the rarest oils in the world due the small and very specific growing area. Argan Oil is rich in antioxidants and omega 6 fatty acids, and is believed to contain twice as much vitamin E as olive oil. It is said to contain saponins, which helps to soften the skin and restore the skin’s water lipid layer, thereby minimizing wrinkles. It can also be used to ease cases of acne and eczema helping the skin to maintain a youthful, glowing appearance.

I just have to share my experience with ouchie butter. About 7 weeks ago I went to my podiatrist prior to having hip surgery. Well he caused my big toe to crack and bleed, this happened before I left his office. So he told me to use neosoprin and a bandaid on it and it would heal. RIGHT? WELL WRONG. I am now into my 7th week and my toe has finally healed up, but not per his instructions.
I had ordered the ouchie butter and it arrived while I was (and still am ) in rehab ( or nursing home UGH!) My husband had been dressing my toe 2 to 3 times a week with the neo and it just didn't seem to be getting better. Then a light bulb went off in my head ( ding !ding! ding!) I happened to remember what my friend Yvonne told me about the ouchie butter. So I asked my husband to slather on the ouchie butter and bandage it up. Two days later just before I got my shower my husband took the bandage off and WOW!!!! it was GONE COMPELETLY HEALED! THANK YOU JESUS!!
I f you don't believe me you try it.!
Thank You Chrissy

We like the "Ouchie Butter" and use it often. My Asian daughter uses it as a nightly cleanser on her face. I was most impressed when we needed some help with a product and had the chief officer reach out to us personally. Needless to say we are satisfied customers.

With 8 children still at home we use this everyday! The ability to quickly calm my children's nerves with a "butter" that does not burn or sting is fantastic! Cuts, scraps, bumps, bruises, dry skin or that ouchie that mommy cannot see ;) this is our go to!

My daughter burned her finger at work. I handed her the Ouchie butter and told her to give it a try. It took the pain away very quickly and it started to heal the next day. Love this product!

My mom dropped a curling iron on her neck last weekend. The burn was so horrible. I gave her my ouchie butter and she put it on a few times a day. The burn is a quarter the size it was at the beginning of the week and there are parts of it that don't even have a scar. It's healing beautifully with the ouchie butter. My sister told me yesterday that she would have never believed it if she didnt see it for herself. Thank you for such an amazing product!

This product is incredible! My son gets eczema on his arms and this healed it edition days. I had a crazy rash that nothing had worked in and after using this for a week, it is gone. Also great as a gentle diaper rash cream. And it smells great too! Cannot recommend this highly enough.

We use the ouchie butter on boo boos, diaper rash, chapped lips, rough elbows, etc. My little baby badly burned her arm the day before her 1st birthday. It was awful!!! We used ouchie butter on it and it soothed the burn and made it heal quickly....with no scarring....NONE! Ouchie Butter should be in everyone's medicine cabinet as their go-to booboo goodness!

I ordered a travel size of the ouchie butter to try it out and I absolutely love it! I have a little patch of dry skin/eczema on my eyelid and after using the ouchie butter for 3 days the spot is almost completely gone! It has been there forever and the ouchie butter was what it needed! Thanks, so much!
