What began for me as a challenge to find something safe to put on my children's skin and hair has evolved into a product line that I am happy to share with you!
When we brought home our first three Ethiopian children in 2010, I found out the hard way that I am allergic to ingredients in many products billed as "ethnic" hair and skin care. I began researching the butters and oils that are truly healing and healthy for skin and hair and what I developed was named after my nickname for all of my children... babycakes!
The original Babycakes: hair and body butter is the core of the product line, but I have since added a styling wax (honey butter) a lip balm (lip butter) and an anti-aging/anti-scar cream that is high in argan oil (babyface)!
